The Town of Gramercy is a small municipality in St. James Parish along the east bank of the Mississippi River, about 36 miles west of New Orleans. It is part of the New Orleans metropolitan area but maintains the character of a close-knit river community with deep ties to Louisiana's sugar and industrial heritage.
