August 3, 2026 — 10:00 a.m. Update The boil order remains in effect. Water samples have been collected from locations throughout the Town of Gramercy in accordance with guidance from the Louisiana Department of Health. The samples have been submitted to the state laboratory for testing. Additional information will be provided as soon as test results become available.

BOIL WATER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT
Repairs to the water main have been completed. The Town of Gramercy will now follow all required testing protocols established by the Louisiana Department of Health. The boil water advisory will remain in effect until the Town receives confirmation that all testing has been completed and the water is safe for consumption. This process may take approximately 48 to 72 hours. Additional updates will be provided as information becomes available.

Because of these problems, the water produced by our water supply system is of questionable microbiological quality.
